I study, practice, and teach Yoga to share what helped me affirm and love my innate wholeness and lead a happier life

Why “Green Marble Yoga”?

Yoga has been a transformative journey for me over the past five years. What began as a way to connect more deeply with my body and improve my physical well-being quickly evolved into something much more profound. I’ve discovered not only strength, flexibility, and balance on the mat but also a deeper sense of self-awareness, inner peace, and emotional freedom off the mat.

Alongside my yoga practice, travel has also played a key role in shaping who I am today. Travel has been a mirror for my own growth, showing me that the more I open myself to the unknown, the more confident and grounded I become. Just like yoga, it’s about embracing the journey, staying present, and trusting in the process.

I worked through many names for my yoga business brand. The name needed to represent my love for yoga and travel, and my dreams to teach around the world, lead retreats, and build community. It needed to be unique, yet familiar.

I came across “Blue Marble” as a term describing the way Earth looked from the first outer space satellite images. I thought about how powerful that must have been for us.

The color green represents serenity, vitality, and life. It reminds me of my favorite natural landscapes. I’ve visited many places, snowy mountains, dry deserts, beaches with turquoise water, and tropical landscapes. It is the warm environments that support beautifully lush greenery all year round that make me feel the most connected.

When something resonates deep within us, it is not by mistake. Our Highest Self inherently has connections. It’s as we slowly explore our own lives that we get to find out what those are, without judgment and with an open mind.

Green is the color of the Anahata chakra, located at the heart. It is where we process our love and our pain, where we have the opportunity to open and release.

Marble is stable and strong, and has that patterned quality that is unique in each one you see.

I think that Green Marble Yoga represents the sense of wholeness one can attain through Yoga, and also the unique paths one could lean into in Yoga.

My goal for students is that they find their Yoga practice according to what they need. My mission is to meet people where they are at. Everyone can do Yoga. Maybe that’s not a Power Vinyasa class, but it could be a gentle yoga flow or set of postures. It could be a Yin class. Yoga does not need to be a physical practice. It could be mediation. Another path is learning Yogic wisdom in books. It could be in the way we learn how to deal with the stresses and mental chatter of life. It’s the way we learn to love ourselves and others better.

Through Green Marble Yoga, I aim to foster a space where yoga is not just an exercise, but a way of living. Whether you’re just beginning your practice or have been on this path for years, I want to help you cultivate a deeper connection with yourself and inspire positive change in your life.

My vision for Green Marble Yoga is to build a global community of individuals who not only practice yoga postures but truly embody its teachings in their daily lives. I believe that when we embrace yoga’s philosophy—living with mindfulness, compassion, and authenticity—we not only become happier and more fulfilled individuals, but we also contribute to a more conscious, loving world.
